Day 1 / Reykjavik (Arrival):
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 2 / Reykjavik - Vik Area:
After breakfast, your first stop is the Volcano Experience at Harpa in Reykjavik. Later, depart Reykjavik & the first volcanic area you’ll meet is Hengill. Proceed to Thingvellir National Park (UNESCO World Heritage site), then head onwards to the geothermal fields of Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, the Golden Falls. Stop at the spectacular waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. End the day in Vik, Iceland’s southernmost town. Dinner and overnight in Vik area. (B, D)
Day 3 / Vik:
After breakfast, depart to the area of Katla, your first stop is Reynisfjara beach. Later, visit Vatnajökull National Park & Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Near Jökulsárlón is the dramatic beauty of the Diamond Beach. Later, visit Vatnajökull National Park’s famous Skaftafell area. Head back to Vik village. Dinner and overnight in Vik area. (B, D)
Day 4 / Vik - Reykjavik:
After breakfast, head back along the beautiful South Coast. Visit the village of Hveragerði, visit a nearby horse farm to meet some locals: Icelandic horses. Later, the road takes you through surreal landscapes to the final volcanic region of the trip: Fagradalsfjall. Enjoy a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon. Return to Reykjavik for overnight stay. (B)
Day 5 / Reykjavik (Departure):
After breakfast, transfer on your own to the international airport for your departure flight. (B)
